aww yeah.....
nothin says "good morning" like an ice cold starbucks mocha frappuccino paired with a lovely side dish of beautiful, ripe, delicious strawberries...
this will more than likely be the highlight of my day as I am expected to stay awake today for a family gathering this morning and an afternoon with the BestFriend ....
.. if I'm lucky I'll manage to sneak in a 2 hour nap before my overtime tonight at work.
Bean is weak... you ask her to work more hours and she'll flip u the bird. You offer her time and a half and remind her the fourth of july consisted of time and a half and the money signs cloud her mind and automatically scream the words "yes"...
"But bean... we'll pay you to work overtime..." "YES!"
"But bean... we'll pay you to show us your.... " "YES!"
*sighs*
fortuneatly for me, no one has that kind of money around my workplace...
but i will be sacrificing my day off for time and half tonight...
my checkings account will thank me next week.
So aside from working and sleeping, the only other things taking up valuable bean time consist of ghost books, tetris, and music.
It feels rather nice sometimes to not have a life... or rather, to put your life on hold....
especially when you live with a family like mine.
Saturday morning Bean got in and went straight to bed around 7a.m... she then slept a good 11 hours, staggered out of her bedroom as her mother glanced at her and said ...
"Honey, you've got another few hours before work.. why'd you get up so early?"
ah mother.... how do I love thee...
for now the only thing I have to fear is being asked out by the HeadJerk at work...
lately his antics have consisted of treating the Bean like a human being instead of a dust mop...
"seriously! I've realized that i've crossed that line a few times and I'm not tryin to be that way to you anymore because....."
(trails off as Bean rolls her eyes, turns her back and walks away)
