another day, another dollar.

Finally took care of my taxes today. I did fairly well considering I'm used to getting zero dollars and zero cents back.

I've always thought I was cursed when it came to tax time.

Not sure what keeps me from thinking I'll see my money this year but hey keep your fingers crossed for me.

Last year I recall receiving a letter from the government saying they took my check and used it to pay my loans off.

I had zero say in the matter and was left with nothing but the little dreams I had created in terms of planning what to do with my money.

THis year I'm waiting for the same letter:

Dear Bean, (cuz thats what the government calls me)

We've noticed you've recieved quite a chunk of our money with the IRS program via tax returns. We regret to inform you that it has also been brought to our attention that your irresponsible ass has yet to pay your school loans. Do you think money grows on trees?

Its understandable if you did believe such an absurdity considering the fact that you failed to complete said education.

We have therefore robbed you of every penny of said tax return and expect that you make another payment within the next two weeks (thats 14 days in case you were wondering). Please send your payment, your shirt, your shoes and your first born child within 30 days or we shall regretfully turn you to the proper authorities.
